And it happened again this morning. ![[image] [image]](http://allyourschat.com/icons/sad.gif)

![[image] [image]](http://wimg.co.uk/thUtJ.jpg) Both floods were bad. This one was a little more wide spread, did more damage in taking out bridges, roads and there was loss of life. A woman was found after 4 days of searching 6 miles from where her home was taken off it's foundation, crashed into a bridge and came apart.
Just so you can see how deep the first flood was, look at the discoloring of the bricks just beyond the car.
For me personally, there is never any danger of flooding. I'm on high ground but only about 50 yards from the stream that causes the flooding. It does however isolate me where I can't go anywhere because I need to drive through the town you see here just to go "anywhere".
I live here, I know these people and they have had to endure so much. My heart goes out to them all. I assisted a little in the relief efforts for cleanup. I sit on the board of directors for a charitable organization that that helps people in need. Our services were needed after the first flood but the facility was all but lost as victim to that flood. This second flood finished that facility off. Fortunately, we had moved everything to another location before this flood. Nothing was lost this time but we're still trying to get our operations back in order.
The fist flood happened May 2, the second July 21. That's less than three months apart.
