Hotmail has been rolling out it's new and seemingly "faster" service for the past few months. Give us your opinion on what you think about the "New Hotmail".
The link to this board has been posted on Hotmail's opinion site and guests may view and leave comments. Members may vote in the poll. Help All Yours Chat become your voice to Microsoft's Windows Live team. Let us know what you think and we will do what we can to pass your comments and concerns.
This is not just a bash the new Hotmail service. If you like the new format then feel free to leave positive feedback.

I do not like this new format. The screen is not wide enough for me to read my messages. I can't see my junk mailbox area. I have text in the area of inbox written over top of other text. I like to be able to see my mail. Everything is too big and takes up too much space with ads.

Thanks for your input Sandra.
The ads really aren't any bigger than before. It's just that they are in an immovable frame and that cramps the message area.
Hotmail has been calling this an "upgrade". I've been calling it an update. To me "upgrade" means something improved. This new Hotmail doesn't seem like an improvement to me.

Hey Andy, thanks for you input.
I had this problem too on one of my computers but if you look at the bottom you might have a horizontal scroll. If you move that to the right you might find an additional scroll in the frame of the large message. This again to me is an inconvenience.

There seem to be a whole load of changes to tons of Microsoft/MSN platforms. I opened Hotmail up a few days ago to be greeted with a screen telling me my Hotmail had changed to the 'New Version' Can't remember the exact words. Oh, more changes, I thought with an internal sigh. I love Microsoft. MSN Live Services are fantastic altogether. The new Hotmail has been great. I'm so sorry for those who can't use it, for whatever reason. I'm inclined to think it must be to do with what OS or other software their Hotmail is linked up with. I have Vista Home Prem as of August '07. I use IE7 and everything integrates nicely with it. The new Hotmail for me is a wonderful service. No change in speed, it was always quick. Poor ol' Microsoft. They're getting a bashing for this but I, for one, love it. Hope that cheers somebody up:-)

1. New hotmail loses scroll its bars. If you resize the window periodically it will make the scroll bars reappear, but who needs that?
2. When I first got the "upgrade" when I typed an address, if it had previously been sent an email, it would automatically suggest possible right addresses to pick from. This was a good feature as long as you knew the address so you could start it out. If you didn't know the person's address, then if you also could not see your contact list, then you were out-of-luck. Unfortunately, now this feature has also been "broken" and it no loger works.
My first week the system had horrible response time, but at least that has improved.

I just cant stand this new hotmail interface!!! The previous one was perfect!!
I whish there is an option to choose the previous hotmail
